CPD: Mindful Learning, Teaching, and Leading

Participants will engage in 正念 breakout sessions for reflection, meditation, self-care, movement, 和连接, 通过正念冥想等正念体验来增加个人练习, yoga, journaling, reflection, 与自然交流. I define 正念 by being in the moment and in the flow. 正念 takes one to a place of serenity and calm.

Some activities students do in 正念 class are breathing techniques, thinking about their thinking and doing various types of meditations.

Is there anything else you would like included in your Spotlight?

Ms. Sarah Natale, Media Specialist at Sligo MS, is a certified yoga instructor. Ms. 每个学期Natale都会带我上几次正念瑜伽课. Born in Puerto Rico and based in Washington, D.C., Mariana is deeply committed to nurturing wellness, well-being, and inclusion in all aspects of life. 拥有健康方面的专业知识, 正念, and DEl, Mariana has worn various hats over the years, 特别是在教育方面, spanning both higher education and K-12.
